Best.Day.Ever.
Today started off as any other summery vacation day down the Cape. I wake up to Cooper staring a me creepily from across the room. We get up, he throws his food all over the kitchen, I clean it up, and he runs around with the remote screaming for LALA (Elmo). However, what started out as ordinary became extraordinary!
I had the leave the Cape for the day to go to a doctor’s appointment and I stopped by the gym since I have been slacking since Saturday and I ran a nice and smooth 8 miles. It felt good and so did I. I then ran home to take a quick shower before my appointment and found this beauty waiting for me on my front step!
I am so excited to try all these delicious products from Premier Protein. I have a seriously hard workout planned for tomorrow and I am going to try out one of these chocolate shakes after and I will blog about it after! Thanks so much Premier Protein! You guys are the best!
Anyhow, as I was digging through all this swag like a hungry chimp I got this text from Brian…
Oh.my.god. I am a freak for all things Bravo (except Miss Advised, but I will not rant). Ramona is by far one of the most notable Housewives. She is everything a real Housewife should be; rich, confrontational, narcissistic, and sometimes just plain crazy. I mean that in the most complementary was possible, I LOVE HER. She is so vilified on RHONY is hysterical, she is a Bravo legend and only going to be a couple of miles away from my parents Cape house. Clearly that meant I went to my doctors appointment and hour early to hope I could get in and out early to get back to Dennis without hitting traffic. It worked. Here is me fan girling Ramona!
She was very pretty in person and quite nice. But she was DEFINITELY Ramona. She talked very fast and when I asked her what her favorite NYC restaurant for when Erin and I go to the Great Urban Race, she immediately said Catch. Then about thirty other restaurants in the Meatpacking District and then about 10 more. Again so Ramona, so awesome. My prized photo of the day.
Now that my excitement for the day is over I am going to try to relax and make it through one day of this vacation without gobbling a pound of ice cream!
