Cooper really enjoyed the splash park. NOT. Can’t wait for swim lessons Friday- kid sweats the water!
I never want my child to be unhealthy and I never want him to feel deprived. That’s why I think a breakfast of an organic banana, local dairy farm milk, and whole wheat pancakes with some chocolate chips, and a chobani champion is a great breakfast for a little guy!
It took 2.2 seconds to figure out how to eat a cantaloupe and .2 seconds devour it. I’m going to stop ordering him meals and just feed him my garnish.
Life’s a Beach!
We are on vacation for the week down Cape Cod and have been trying spend a lot of time breaking Cooper from his fear of water and sand. Although I started the weekend out a little anxious about my diet and exercise I finally decided to scale it down for the week and have a great time and not worry about if the scale changes to much between now and next Sunday. I have plenty of time to make it up and I am going to sprinkle my vacation treats (aka Ice Cream and barbeque) in between healthier habits.

A kiss from my little love bug!
It has been hot and humid here so my runs have been sub-par to say the least. I have been trying to keep up doing bodypump every other day to counter this lack of running and keeping active while at the beach!

I have even gone so far to introduceCooper to a crab…i would ONLY do this for my son. gross. Luckily this picture sums up how he feels about them…

Terrible and disgusted…Just like his Mommy. I am glad we got this out of the way early and I hope it foreshadows his future preference for pets….Non-fluffys need not apply.

After three beach days in a row we got him to go up to his knees and he let us carry him into the ocean up to our knees. I am sure he is purely concerned for our safety since sharks have been spotted off the coast of Chatham and clearly has nothing to do fear…Walking on soft sand however is clearly beneath him and he will only stand if a mat is laid out for him. Sand is for peasants…like his parents…

Enjoying so snacks in the shade and on his mat.
I have to head back home tomorrow for an appointment and am definitely going to hit the gym for a long run in the AC before I head back to the Cape. Then we are going to take Cooper out on the kayak for a new experience for him and a little upper body work for me!
Hope everyone is doing something fun for the Fourth!
